From warm walls to cool cities: Investigating Insulation and Urban Heat Loss

This activity combines scientific exploration of thermal properties with practical applications to global challenges. Students develop critical thinking skills while connecting classroom concepts to environmental and societal issues.

SteamCity is an Erasmus+ project launched in 2022 and coordinated by the Laboratoire d'Aix-périmentation et de Bidouille (LAB) in partnership with 7 European organizations. This project aims to take science learning out of the classroom to connect STEAM concepts to real-life urban issues and involve students in local investigations.
